clients U-HAUL International, 3COM, The Gap, and Dollar General. ECHO

Co-founder and Director of Engineering for XYNet Software Technologies,
Inc., a software engineering and Internet technology firm. One of the principal
architects of the XYNet CDPD Administrative Office, a complete customer
accounting and network provisioning system for CDPD (Cellular Digital Packet
Data) service providers. This product, which utilized Microsoft Windows
clients and Windows or Solaris servers, was called at the time of its release
"the most comprehensive and easiest to operate CDPD accounting system in the
industry." Customers included AT&T (McCaw) Cellular, Ericsson Radio
Systems, and Bell South.

(1993) Managed the final release to Lloyds TSB Bank of the Unisys Systems Management
System, comprising over a dozen major subsystems and more than 150 individual
products. Components included: secure (B1) operating systems, multiple protocol
stacks, encryption, fail-safe resiliency, system/network management, knowledge-based
engineering tools, document imaging, and 4th generation languages. Managed a
division of approximately 70 engineers.
(1992) One of the primary initiators and implementers of the Software Engineering
Institute's Capability Maturity Model at the Unisys Camarillo engineering
facility.
(1990) Served as Unisys representative to the OSI/Network Management Forum
Strategy and Planning Committee; Security Subject Matter Expert for ANSI X3T5.4
Network Management committee; and Unisys Assigned Number representative to
Internet Naming Authority (now IANA).
(1988) Chaired the Unisys Branch Automation Security committee, which defined
the strategy and architecture for access control and data confidentiality
products for the financial line-of-business.
(1987) Received the Unisys Corporate Achievement Award for Excellence for
contributions to successful sales and installation of branch automation systems
at Lloyds TSB Bank, Manchester, England ($110 million) and Hongkong and Shanghai
Banking Corporation ($130 million). In 1987, only five of these awards were given
in a company of 120,000 employees.
(1986) Managed the development of Unisys FSA/Finesse financial branch automation
system. This product was one of the most successful application products in Unisys
history, with a peak of more than 500 corporate users, representing software
revenues of over $500 million and a hardware drag of nearly $3 billion. From 1988
to 1994, it was the de-facto standard in much of Latin America, the Philippines,
U.K. building societies, and French farm banks. At project peak, administered an
annual budget of over $4 million, representing a staff of approximately 120, and
coordinated hardware and software contractors in 6 U.S. and 2 overseas locations.
(1984) Managed the development of Burroughs FSA (Financial Systems Architecture)
developer's tool kit, which included one of the first commercial implementations
in the industry of a distributed, client-server application fully deployed on a
Local Area Network of personal computers.
(1983) As senior "fly-and-fix" consultant for Burroughs Southeast Region office,
resolved marketing, communications, and technical issues for customers in Tennessee,
Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, North and South Carolina, and Florida. Received the
regional Achievement Award for Excellence for successful resolution of numerous
crisis accounts.
(1978) Developed and installed Burroughs first disk-based remittance processing
system for the Jacksonville Electric Authority. This system became the model for
Burroughs standard remittance processing system; JEA was a showcase account for
many years thereafter.

Built North Carolina Federal S&L's data processing department
from the ground up. We implemented seven major banking application
systems; installed the first Automated Teller Machines in an S&L
in North Carolina; acquired two other Associations and converted
and imported their data bases; and installed over 150 passbook
terminals statewide. Every project was on time and within budget.

FLORIDA NATIONAL BANKS OF FLORIDA, INC., Jacksonville, FL

Responsible for maintenance and support of all operating systems and
assembly language applications. Managed the installation of Florida
National Banks Retail Lockbox System for the Metro Dade County (Miami)
Tax Collector's Office. This was a very prestigious account for
Florida National, and due to our successful processing of very
low-quality documents, resulted in significant follow-on business.
